Round 3 of the Annual Marvel Femslash Exchange is here. I hope everyone can put their Black Widow, Loki, and WandaVision energy into this event. Beware, possible spoilers ahead. Most of all, have fun. I can’t wait to see all the rarepairs, juggernauts, crackships and OTP/OT3s+ of your heart.

Nomination Rules

• You can nominate up to 10 fandoms (including Crossover Fandom & Rule 63), with 20 relationships allowed per fandom. All relationships must be / relationships.
• All nominations must have fandom disambiguations. Please use the following Fandom → (relationship disambiguation).
  • Marvel Cinematic Universe → (Marvel Cereal Unicorn)
  • The Defenders (Marvel TV) → (The Defenders)
  • Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD, Cloak & Dagger, The Gifted, and The Runaways are all their own fandoms.
  • Deadpool (Movieverse) → (Deadpool)
  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) → (ItSV)
  • Venom (Movie 2018) → (Venom)
  • X-Men (Alternate Timeline Movies → (X-Men ATM)
  • X-Men (Original Timeline Movies → (X-Men OTM)
  • X-Men (Comics) → (X-Men Comics)
  • Marvel (Comics) → (Marvel Comics)
  • Crossover Fandom → Character A (Marvel Cereal Unicorn)/Character B (Marvel Comics)
  • Rule 63 Fandom → (Rule 63 MCU), (Rule 63 The Defenders), etc. Please disambiguate each character even if they are from the same canon, eg. Loki (Rule 63 MCU)/Thor (Rule 63 MCU)/Hela (MCU)
• Original Female Characters: Please nominate all ships involving original female characters under the relevant fandom. List “Original Female Character” first followed by the Marvel character(s). If you want an original female character as part of a crossover threesome or moresome, please list them first under Crossover Fandom. If you want an original female character as part of a Rule 63 relationship, please list them first under Rule 63 Fandom.
• Crossover Fandom: Nominate crossover relationships under 'Crossover Fandom'. Ignore the AO3 instructions on crossovers. The format for crossover relationships is: Character A (fandom)/Character B (fandom) or Character A (fandom)/Character B (fandom)/Character C (fandom) etc. If you want an original female character as part of a crossover threesome or moresome, please list them first under Crossover Fandom in the format Original Female Character/Character B (fandom)/Character C (fandom) - e.g. Maria Hill (Marvel Cinematic Universe)/Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) Note* If you want a Rule 63 character as part of a crossover threesome or moresome, please nominate them under Rule 63 Fandom
• Rule 63 Fandom: If you want more information on why Rule 63 is allowed, please refer to the Rules & FAQ post. The format for Rule 63 relationships is: Male Character Name A/Male Character Name B (Rule 63 Fandom) - e.g. James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers (Rule 63 MCU). (Note: When works are published for this fandom, they should be tagged Rule 63, Female ‘Male Character Name’, etc) If you want an original female character as part of a Rule 63 relationship, please list them first under Rule 63 Fandom in the format Original Female Character/Male Character Name - e.g. Original Female Character/Bruce Banner (Rule 63 MCU). If you want a Rule 63 Character as part of a crossover, please list them under Rule 63 Fandom in the format Character A (fandom)/Character B (fandom)/Male Character C (Fandom) - e.g. Patricia Walker (She-Hulk)/Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk)/Thor (Rule 63 MCU)
• Please subscribe to this comm and keep an eye out for clarification posts.

Nomination Guide (you must be signed into ao3 to nominate relationships.)

• Go to the nominations form at the Tag Set
• You must be signed in to ao3. On the upper right-hand corner of the screen there should be a grey button called 'nominate'. Click that button.
• The nomination form will appear. It will have ten slots for fandoms, with twenty relationships under each fandom. Note that you cannot nominate the same fandom twice.
• Enter your fandoms/relationships and click the submit button at the bottom of the page. Note: you can do this in batches, so you do not need to know all of your nominations to start, the form will be editable until nominations close and your individual nominations will be editable until accepted.
• Your saved nominations will be displayed. Please note that I may not be able to approve them as they appear; it may take some time for your nominations to be displayed in the main tagset but I will be approving nominations at least twice a day.

Nomination Tips

• Try not to get too caught up in ao3’s dropdown menu, a lot of these tags will not be canonical yet.
• If you are trying to enter a tag that is not in the drop down, or you don’t agree with the formatting in the drop down, enter your relationship with disambiguation followed by a comma ‘,’ and it should accept it - e.g. type in or cut/paste into the relationship box for Crossover Fandom

• BE VERY CAREFUL if you use this tip as it is a bit of an ao3 hack, but in my experience works. If you are curious if another person has nominated something that is not in the tagset yet, but is awaiting approval, you can look for your relationship under a different/wrong fandom. Use something random and made up in the Fandom field like “Ice Cream”, then in the relationship field enter the one your think might be waiting approval, lets say: Maria Hill/Natasha Romanov. When you try to save it will let you know it is already nominated under Marvel Cinematic Universe, or not.
