Sign ups: A Guide

Some of this is outlined in the Rules & FAQ but if it is reiterated here, I think it bears repeating.

• Gifts must be: a fic of at least 500 words long; a podfic of a fic of at least a 500 words in length; a piece of art not on lined paper that has clean linework; or a video of at least 1:00 in length. Participants will receive the same in return.
• All gifts must adhere to the recipients’ DNWs and your DNWs MUST BE INCLUDED in the optional details box to be enforceable. If a DNW is included in your gift, the creator of that gift will be banned from future participation at mod discretion.
• Recipients need to comment on all of their gifts by September 3, 2019 in order to be eligible to participate in future Marvel Femslash events and exchanges. If your gift is in violation of a DNW, please contact the mod. If you have another life circumstance that prevents you from commenting, please contact the mod.
• You have to request/offer the same mediums/freeforms for each request, so if you only want to request fanart for one of your relationships, that will use one request slot, leaving you with 9 fandoms and 46 total relationship possibilities. However, if you have 4 ships you only want fanart for in one fandom and 5 you only want fic for, grouping those ships together in two separate request will give you the most options for your other 8 slots.
• Please copy and paste your relationships from the tag set so that everyone is offering/requesting the same thing. A lot of the tag set needed to be edited or wrangled in some way, so it might be slightly different from how you nominated it. The drop down should help and should be tied to the tag set but I trust AO3 as far as I can throw it.
• Letters are not required, but there is a place for a letter link if you are so inclined.

Podfic Requests
+If you are requesting podfic, you must link 2 fics in the Optional Details box for your requested pairing that are 500 words or greater, and those authors must have transformative works permissions for podfic that is easily confirmable (ao3 profile or dreamwidth).
+If you have never created podfic before, but want to, I encourage you to explore this as a treating option. Podfic takes a lot of time to record and edit and I caution against offering it if you have not created podfics before.
+If you are offering podfic, you can also write a 500+ word fic adhering to your recips requests/DNWs and podfic your own work. It is up to you whether you also want to gift the fic to your recipient, but if you want to post it outside of the exchange, please wait until after creator reveals. More detailed information about podfic requests/offers is in the FAQ.

Rule 63 Requests and Offers
Rule 63 Fandom requests and offers should be made with the understanding this is for genderswaped characters e.g. Thor is a self-identified women (trans or cis). *Note: sexswaps where a male character wakes up with female genitalia but is still male identifying are not allowed. If you are unsure what the difference is, feel free to read more about it here.

Vids
I have seen some pretty cool vids made from comics pages, but be mindful this exchange has a lower word count minimum than some I’ve seen where fanvids are an option, so request away, but keep in mind vids are more likely to be created from Film/TV mediums. Also heed the note above about request slots if you only want to request vids for certain ships.
